Bank Of America - Global Banking & Markets - Wholesale credit (Analyst role)

Hi there,

I would like to have a better understanding about the position of Wholesale credit (Analyst). According to BoA's website and multiple recruiting platforms, the position is stated as a Front Office role. However, I have also read a few threads (3-4 years ago) about this role from WSO where most of the discussions, people are referring this as a MO role.

I would like to seek advise from you all for the followings:
1) Are there any major differences regarding responsibilities of this position across BBs? (which lead to different understanding of whether it is a FO or MO role)
2) For those with experience, has the responsibilities of this role changed over time?
3) Is this department a hybrid of Wholesale banking and Risk?
4) What are the prospects of this role? (MBA / Exit opportunities)

Thank you so much!
