BarCap Credit Risk vs. Suntrust IB
So I have a tough decision ahead of me. Just got an offer for BarCap Credit Risk summer analyst in nyc and I have final round interviews for SunTrust IB summer analyst in atlanta next week. If I'm trying to position myself for full time investment banking next year what would you take. I feel like the networking opportunities in NYC and the name brand of Barclays would just slightly outweigh the IB experience at SunTrust and SunTrust doesnt have as much clout.
Thoughts?
Note: I'm trying to position myself for something like WFS IB, not a Goldman or MS.
interview with suntrust, get the offer, then decide.
lol STRH is going to set you up fine for WFS IB. And you're wrong about the name brand of Barclays outweighing IB experience. I can't speak to networking.
Isn't Barcap extremely good in the risk management side of things?
