pretty sure people have got rejection emails after OA too so would imagine that preliminary conversations means you will get TI

screening for tests or whatever means your CV was not picked up I think.

can anyone confirm? I want to know whether I have passed OA or not even lol

Preliminary conversation means they are screening your cv and expect to hear back within 2 weeks (maybe longer). Last year many got TI after preliminary conversation status but also many got rejection after waiting months without any TI even tho they had preliminary conversation in their status.
But then again they moved to workday last year so it's hard to tell this year what it means

Source? How do you know? From what I saw last year for summers, everyone I spoke to who had preliminary convo status, got a TI (or got fast-tracked to AC for S&T)

Apparently 1st round TI out for IBD Grad London. Assume they will be doing recruiting alongside SA, given both start in June/July. TI was with an Associate. From what it sounded like, a bit informal and to "discuss their application".

Also coincides with that applications opened just over 3 weeks ago which is the rough timeline for 1st rounds to be coming out

Yea I applied for IB in london too and mine is still "Preliminary Conversation" but i haven't got a telephone interview yet (assume thats what TI means lol) guess im cooked
