Does anybody know anything about Barclays Chemicals group (culture, deal flow, exits)? I know it's a part of the Natural Resources group, but it seems to operate independently.

Barc's Chemicals franchise is very strong. Deal flow: Historically strong standing on M&A league tables for transactions >$200mn with strong deal flow to match. Culture: Small-sized team so can only imagine tight knit culture in this respect. Exits: Can't speak to exits as much but given NatRes' strong track record I would assume a strong showing here.

I use barclays chemicals on the weeds in my backyard (bermuda grass). Does a good job killing the weeds and leaving the grass relatively unharmed. It's cheaper than roundup so its a good alternative to the bigger name brands
