Barclays Scholars Boot Camp
I got an email about this "boot camp" taking place in NYC in January. It says anyone can apply in the email, but on the application it says this program aims to attract high achieving women and diverse candidates (African Americans, Hispanics/Latin Americans, and Native Americans)interested in pursuing a career in financial services.
Should I still apply even though im a white male?
Also, has anyone done this program in the past?
some posts in this forum show the desparation at its best...

Program looks pretty good. Reminds me of the CSFB Explorer Program. It doesn't hurt to apply, the worst they can do is have you in their database. So if you apply in the future, it shows you have a history with them.
i think dinosaurs have it the worst when it comes to affirmative action.
