BB IBD for sure. I think in terms of exits, BB IBD definietly gives you better skills/exit opps, while PCA is almost impossible to exit to MFPE (and skills is very different).

Mainly due to the non-traditional nature of the role/work itself, meaning its more relationship-based and "sales" (not to the extent of Sales in Sales and Trading), but that means little modelling/company-specific due diligence involved.

Personally know three guys in the space, one in EVR PCA - working tough banking hours given their great deal flows (EVR PCA is a top 3 in the space, "2025 Q1 had transaction totaling over $19B LP exposure globally"), and I suppose great comp, too

Exits will be mostly FoFs or PE BUT within seconadries/GP-leds (Ardian, AlpInvest, Lexington I suppose)

Made this decision a while back and went with the EB PCA group. If you're interested in secondaries, it's one of the best seats you can get out of college in a fast-growing space, especially on the GP-Led front. Would recommend BB IBD if this were a higher BB or if your goal is to exit into PE/HF
