Career Resources
its easy...relatively speaking,
just gotta make time and depends on ur occupation (sales/trader vs banker vs product control)
when i was a first year, i tried. then again it was 2005/2006 so didnt have much time spare.
may want to shoot for after hour dinners, drinks, etc.
what about for summer analysts?
Networking with local BB's NYC (Originally Posted: 05/18/2011)
I'm going to be interning in NYC this summer as a sophomore at a boutique bank located near JPM's headquarters. Around this area there are a number of other banks that can offer future opportunities, such as junior SA. I'm wondering how I can find chances to get to network with bankers at the BB's nearby.
I'm not 21 yet so bars are not really in the equation, though possible, and I don't think asking/approaching them on the street is entirely appropriate...so thoughts?
First idea (for the brave, shameless, and outgoing):

Second idea (for the more conservative):
Make sure you've got a solid GPA going into this fall and submit your resume online.
