BB Quant vs. MM IBD

Hi guys, for background I am nontarget junior STEM major 3.9+ GPA  and had a rough SA 2021 recruitment journey and it was tougher than I expected.

 I have two summer internship offers for Summer 2021.

1. Quant S&T at low tier BB (DB/UBS/WF)

2. A MM IB role (Piper/HW/Baird)

Longer-term my goal is PE and eventually business school. Would it be worth taking the S&T role and hoping to get IB through internal mobility? I think the Quant role is interesting and I can be a top performer. I think starting off at a MM might hinder my PE chances further down the line. 

Would appreciate any advice and / or personal anecdotes.
