BB Strong in Real Estate
Which banks are well known/strong for their real estate groups for IB, PE or more fixed income like CMBS? Thank you for your advice/opinions.

How is Lehman, I know/thought (except for recent mortgage-backed securities drop) their fixed income and CMBS especially were strong divisions for them. Are they weaker in other areas?
Not sure about cmbs, but fixed income is a strong group.
RBS Greenwich has a breakdown on their website of all the players 1-10 in a number of markets - CMBS, MBS, issuance, underwriting, sales, etc. It's a great reference.
