BB/EB NYC Coverage FT Recruiting is impossible?
I've sent thousands of emails and have had 50+ chats but haven't been able to get a single interview for BB/EB NYC coverage. I'm so confused since I'm getting great traction networking/interviewing at regional locations for good banks, but it seems like no one in NYC is FT hiring for some reason? Is it just the market or am I doing something fundamentally wrong here?
Likely due to weak school / bank that you interned at. Getting interviews should be a lot easier for FT coming from decent school / bank. Evercore, PJT, PWP, Gugg, Moelis, JPM already gave out FT offers.
Do you think they mostly went to people that had ROs and wanted to 'upgrade'?
I'm coming from a core target school as well so it's even more surprising. Was told Moelis / PWP specifically weren't hiring for NY. Not sure about PJT/Gugg tbh. Was told by a Gugg VP that coverage summer analysts were strong this class.
