Best Bank for a Media Tech M&A

Hey everyone, our company is exploring some M&A conversations in the media space and looking for some IB representation. Any suggestions for a good bank that focuses on media software tools in the U.S. The deal size is potentially ~$100M.

We've been speaking to a few like Baird, DC Advisors, Leonis, Liontree - would you be able to guide us on whether any of them are good fit?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately don’t have any insights, but curious to get others thoughts on the firms you listed. $100mm seems too small for liontree, likely Baird as well, is it not?

I think anyone will come downstream in the market rn. I imagine an upper middle market shop like Baird has no issue moving down to lmm.

As for lion tree, I don’t want to say there is not deal activity at the top rn. I know Cartoon Network may merge w Discovery and HBO. They may have got that mandate. I don’t work in that space but highly interested in it

Think LionTree is going to be your best bet - really strong across all media sub verticals

u right man MS is good. But two things to consider 1) MS prob won't go that low 2) MS can be v expensive
