Hi Everyone— I recently landed a ‘25 summer analyst role at MM shop. Super stoked! The upperclassmen at my school recommended I buy a PC laptop to practice on excel as Apple is not the most applicable.
Any recommendations in a $300-600 price?

I don’t think you need a new laptop.
I would assume your school would have a Bloomberg terminal. Just practice excel on one of those bad boys. Kills two birds with one stone.
I got a cheap used ThinkPad on Amazon. Not expensive but great for cranking excel + powerpoint work.
