I will be starting off as an Associate @ Bear this Aug. Anybody know what groups are particularly strong @ Bear that I should opt for after my rotation?

I believe TMT (specifically Tech) is pretty strong at Bear.
good - i was thinking about Tech or Media @ Bear as well...
DO you work at Bear..
Employees at Bear consider TMT to be the hardest working group but they also do the best deals. GIG is ok but you'll work on a huge range of stuff. HC isn't bad and the hours are a little better than TMT. FIG is not great. Acquisition Finance is the only product group and popular with those looking to get into PE.
I don't work at Bear.
I have a close friend that worked in GIG at Bear. They seemed to think it was one of the better groups.
