W720 from Plantronics is super lightweight + binaural with insane bluetooth range + battery. The bluetooth range is nice if you're on calls all day. You can make lunch while you're on the phone etc
How are the airpods failing you? I personally have the airpod pros and honestly for what I'm spending I assumed battery life would be like multiple days.
I also have the beats powerbeats3 that aren't terrible but are wired together like rope. I also have wireless beats solo3 (but only as my gym headphones) that last around 22 hours. Perfect for me since I can go like a month without recharging, but probably terrible for everyday work use.
I think the problem is putting enough battery power into something so small like wireless earbuds.
Bose QC35 or Bose 700s. The latter may not be worth the upgrade to you.
I have QC35s and love them. Only thing is that when other people talk to me, they say that they can hear background really loudly on phone calls. Only headphones where that happens for me
I just bought the 700s. They are great so far, although I’ve owned the QC25, QC15, and two sets of earbuds and the longest any of them lasted was 2.5 years with the QC25. I just wish they were sturdier.
Powerbeats Pro are great. I've had mine for over a year now and have not experienced any issues with connectivity, battery life, etc. They are great for working out, too, since they wrap around the ear compared to AirPods which always fall out of my ear.
Second the Bose 700s, but also the Sony WH-1000XM4 (atrocious name) are a good alternative to the Boses.
