Best major for IB

First alternative is master in economics and business administration and a CPA equivalent(not american, different certification). Other alternative is master in engineering and a bachelor in econ. What should i go for if my wish is to make it in IB or finance in general?

Either major should be fine for banking. Obviously the coursework will be substantially different, so just pick whichever you think is more interesting and you will do better in.

Either is fine, go with whichever interests you.

The first option may have better recruiting/resources being more business focused. GPA is very important for IB, much more than major, so keep that in mind too
