Best resource of IB technical questions?
An1 looking to lateral and currently prepping. What is the best resource of technical questions outside of the 400 guides (which i am exhausting).
Feels like questions are getting harder so a good resource of comprehensive questions would be great, thanks!
acc/valuation textbooks lol
400 is extremely basic, not even sure why it still sticks around. WSP red book is far better than 400 by a wide margin
accounting valuation books seem very overkill for interview, but would be curious to hear what you have used for interview prep
Wanted to say the same, red book is much better than 400 Qs
def go for comprehensive understanding (acc/val textbooks) over more question guides
r&p if you have yet to read it youll know most of it but good to re-lay foundations
other standard IB books, if u have a group you are targeting maybe something in that
accounting valuation books seem very overkill for interview, but would be curious to hear what you have used for interview prep
Honestly the best resource is right on this site - the interview 'reviews' in the WSO database. If you look at enough of those for the BB's and EB's you will get a very good sense of the types of questions actually asked and the derivations of the basis questions. Generally no one asks questions straight out of these guides any more - they test you on similar questions but with a twist that tests that you actually understand the concepts rather than just memorizing answers
second this, commenting on throwaway since the platform seems to leak real interview questions which is questionable ethically but from a practical standpoint it gets you the offer lol
Dont use this shit website. I bought it and half the answers are wrong and AI generated
stop shilling your shit scam website. Literally known to be a scam
Depends what bank. I was fine with the guides but if youre interviewing with a hardo firm you'll def need more
theres a million sites you can use and you'll find so many people advertising here but this site im linking here is probably the most popular/standard one. its been around forever
Heard positive things about FinPrepAIwhich leverages AI to help you learn the concepts. Could be worth a try.
