Best study resources for DCM Analyst

Dear all,

I’ve been working as a DCM IB Analyst for 2 months and would like to receive some tips on where I can learn the advanced technicals such as NIC(NIP), converting from T to SOFR, bond comps, etc.

if any experienced DCM people can share links / book recos, it would really be appreciative!

Thanks all

Looked at a previous WSO threads and couldn’t find anything unfortunately. Hopefully someone engages with your thread soon.

Thanks for the color on Excel/PPT and the macro component. Have heard that it’s more stable than ECM as well and has a bit more varied exit opps. As for hours, it’s an investment banking product group, so that makes sense. Feel free to correct but assuming it’s about 70 hrs as an analyst that scales down to 65 or so hours as you reach the associate 1/2 level and 60 hrs afterwards.

Seem like you’re liking the work overall if you’re interested in building your DCM knowledge. Good luck ahead!
