Best ways to get up to speed on an in-process deal?

Just starting as a new MBA associate (I know, I know), and have been dropped in on a few deals right off the bat. I was wondering if any of you more experienced analysts/associates have a good process for quickly getting up to speed on a live deal that is already moving (especially at IB pace)?

Right now I've been tabbing through the models, flipping old decks, reading latest filings/research - the obvious stuff - but I know there are things that I don't know I don't know.

Anyway - would appreciate any and all advice.
