Between a Rock and a Hard Place - Transfer Advice!

Hey everyone, I need some advice on whether I should transfer.

A little background about myself:

School: University of Alabama at Birmingham (known for their medical program)

Major: Finance

Classification: Freshman

GPA: 4.0 (projected to be a 3.9 or remain a 4.0 after this semester)

Orgs/Extracurriculars: Financial Management Association, Industry Analyst at my schools student run investment fund ($750k portfolio), Beta Alpha Psi (Co-ed professional business frat), USGA (apart of the Freshman branch)

I decided to go here because I thought being in a metropolitan city like Birmingham would give me a leverage in terms of networking but I now realize it may not work in the long run.

Lately, I have been thinking about transferring back home and going to The University of Alabama. I know some people on this forum have written about SEC schools, specifically Alabama. I know they have everything (in terms of orgs) that the University of Alabama at Birmingham has plus a lot more. Ive seen where they place members of their Investment Banking Academy (GS, MS, JPM, Deutsche, Point 72, UBS, Lazard, CS, etc) so I think I'll have a better chance there. I noticed that a lot of the people in the Academy double majored in Finance and Econ, should I do this too? or Finance and Accounting?

Should I just transfer to better my chances? Also, should I double major? (I know I will have to network and keep my GPA up)
