Big 4 FT Consulting -> IB Help
Who am I … 22 y.o graduated with a BComm from a Canadian university. Working towards my CFA (L2 … yes I know it isn’t going to help I’ve heard it). I just started as a new grad @KPMG in management consulting FT.
My 3 questions are.
1. Would I need an MBA to break into IB after 2 years in FT consulting.
2. If yes what are the most important things I can do to improve my odds of breaking into a top US MBA program (Canadian)
3. How important are extra curricular achievements to an IB/MBA application (Ironmans, marathons, case comps, volunteering, freelancing etc) which if any or other would you recommend?
