BNP Paribas 2017 Intern Program posted on 5/18, Legit?
I found a summer analyst program posted for BNP Paribas IBD, opened for applications started from 5/18, is this legit? Or would it be an off-cycle recruiting?
On the website, its listed as an "urgent need job". My guess is that maybe a couple interns dropped out for some reason before the program started and now they're looking for someone last-minute. Don't know this for a fact, just an assumption.
This would also be my best guess.
Couldn't it be that they already have filled the position, but were required to post it on their careers website anyway?
I've noticed this every year for the past 3 or 4 years, either they are just late to the game or just don't account for rejected offers well.
