BOFA moving associates out of IB?
Heard from a friend at an industry group there that bank wide they are moving some associates to a non banking role. Anybody hear more about this ?

Yeah, heard this happening in the last couple of days from a buddy of mine. Sounds like BofA is finally addressing the massive associate bloat while trying to avoid RIFs.
From my understanding, they have a track record of doing this.
Where exactly are people being moved to?
Will it be a less intense role with solid pay? If so, certainly not the worst outcome.
How many people? They did this last year too
