Books You Recommend

What books do you recommend!?

Name any of your top picks - finance related or not.

  • Venture Deals - Brad Feld (Great for VC)

  • Prince of Tides - Pat Conroy (literally nothing to do with finance just a great book- sad tho)

  • Straight to Hell by John Lefevre (stories from a banker)

  • Liar's Poker: Rising through the Wreckage on Wall Street - Michael Lewis (name speaks for itself lol)

Any others? I've seen posts like this but not that new or they are about a specific financial sector

Freakonomics by Steven Levitt, Liar's Poker (which you said your self), Manias, Panics, and Crashes by Charles Kindleberger, and Probable Outcomes by Ed Easterling are my top finance picks.

Non-finance I would probably choose How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie because it helps work and pretty much everything

A Spy Among Friends: Kim Philby and the Great Betrayal

Literally the title means a spy among spies, friends is a codeword for spy involving MI5 and MI6 of British Intelligence.

A great read if you like thrilling at the end of your seat anticipating read.
