Books/resources to build business intuition
Hey all,
I'm going to be an analyst at an EB, looking to potentially recruit for PE. From my knowledge, PE and PE interviews are much more focused on testing the "investor" mindset or having good business intuition. To be quite honest, I don't think I have a ton of experience developing that mindset, evaluating businesses, and I seem to have trouble going beyond the "basics." I was wondering if anyone had any useful resources, books, or strategies to better developing that mindset. I've tried to look into Porter's strategy books, consulting case studies, and ER/industry research reports but was wondering if anyone had anything more targeted.
Thanks!
