Boutique Bank Not Replying after interview

About a month or two ago I cold emailed a boutique (very small) bank to see if there were any spring internship opportunities available. After a week or so, an associate reached out to me and we had a phone call. The associate told me he liked me and referred me to an analyst to talk to. I talked to the analyst the next day, and he told me that the associate should reach out in the next few weeks regarding next steps. I waited two weeks and followed up with the associate. After a week, I followed up again and still heard nothing. It has been two weeks since my last email to him.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I should do? I'm pretty confused because both of the people that interviewed me said they liked me. Do you think it would look bad if I reached out to the analyst that i spoke to regarding next steps? should i just move on?
