Breaking into Biotech/Life Sciences IB or ER
- Worked at startup past 3 years out of college in BD but preparing to move on and pursue a career in either IB or ER covering life sciences industry.
- Startup I worked for had 0 to do with that industry but I've always been very interested and curious about the life sciences.
- I don't have a PhD or MD, but graduated from top school (Yale/Harvard/Princeton) and have co-authored a publication in a reputable journal of medicine. My only work experience in finance came from internships while an undergrad.
- What would you do in my position, just cold message/email people to set up time to chat? I'm obviously applying to things online but want to meet people w/ experience as well
Like I said I could discuss new trends and technologies in the life sciences all day, so hmu would love to talk. Also send me any interesting articles/books that you think are interesting, would be appreciated thanks.
