Breaking into high finance from a science background

Hello everyone. So I graduated with a bachelor's degree in health science and have acquired a master's degree in biomedical science. At the time I wasn't originally planning or interested in breaking into finance but now I am. I was just wondering what would be my best chance to get into a high finance banking role? From the research I've done it seems that Equity Research would be my best chance especially focusing in a sector like biotech or biopharma or any other healthcare sector. Would equity research be my best chance to pursue a career in banking? Any other suggestions welcome!
