I'm currently at a top 40 institution (mid-tier semi target) and am an incoming junior. I'm going to be a Wealth Management summer analyst this summer and an assurance intern next summer at one of the better accounting firms. Can I break into IB/high finance despite having accounting experience? Would I get pigeon-holed into accounting my finance hiring managers?
