You don't need strong quant skills for IB/Consulting/Law. If you told me you wanted to do a quant role like trading, research etc, I would say UCL. Cambridge will open way more doors

 

Degree doesn’t matter, Uni does. Even if Cam geography is a joke (which btw I don’t believe), who cares? You can always pick “stem” skills in your own free time

Nothing special about Geography and the less said about it, the better. But it's Cambridge at the end of the day

 

The older I get the less I agree. There is not a single MD who will look at those two CVs differently. They are exactly the same.

This uni differentiation is a kid thing (I have no skin in the game, went to a top US college) so it’s much more about what you get out of the experience. I personally love Cambridge and have a house out in that area but for a lot of people, London is better and will present its own unique set of opportunities. Comes down to what you want.
