Can I Be Asked To Be DeStaffed / Shuffled?

As a first year analyst, I hate the deal i'm on, the deal team i'm on, the company, the industry, the seniors. I've worked on other pitches and have enjoyed the other sub-verticals, but the live deal i'm on right now is the complete opposite of what I want to be spending my time doing. It seems like this thing will go on for the next 6 months. My question is -- can i ask to be restaffed? I'm almost a 2nd year as I started in January so I have bake-off / live deal reps already and know what I like. I actually want to be staffed on this other deal which seems to be more demanding but has a much nicer deal team and the company is far more interesting.

You can if you have a lot else going on or have “paid your dues” on this deal depending on your staffer

However it is a bad look so just know what you’re signing up for if you ask
