If I were u, I'd wear an AP or a Patek tbh, better first impression on you team to show them you are super down to earth and ready to work hard

Err on side of caution and don’t wear watches as an intern imo, why risk it
The consensus opinion is that it's overkill for an intern, but reality is nobody cares. People too worried about their own problems. If you can honestly afford it at your age, then seriously good for you.
Might be a little cringe
Go for it. 99% of people don’t give a shit what’s on your wrist and it’s only a datejust.
That being said, it wouldn’t hurt to pick up a Seiko 5 or Tissot PRX for internship or just as a beater watch for NYC in general.
