Can this get me in trouble?
So my bank instituted an in office policy, we were previously very flexible on WFH policy (like 3 days from home). My MDs and VPs in this office don't care, it's just corporate and they're enforcing us going in. I gave an intern my ID and he taps me in 3/4 times a week so I just go in once. I get all my work done and am on decent terms with my associate, and show up when my MD is in person. Do you think this is risky?
Of course this is risky. You have acknowledged that corporate could kick your butt in the future, even if you feel that your team respects you regardless. You recognize that.
Don’t look for validation from others when you already know the answer. This can go south very fast.
