Canadian MBA - 2 years work XP enough?

Subject says it all - is 2 years enough, for Canada, to go into MBA and then break into IBD?

The usual path for the US is 2+2 but in Canada I am hearing that the MBAs typically have a few more years of experience, around 3-4, before going to school. Being 24, I would be the youngest in my MBA class, apparently. Is this true?

Appreciate any feedback, both US and Cdn

Nowhere in the US is 2 years typical...averages are closer to 4-6 years work experience at top schools.

2+2 = 2 years pre MBA work experience, 2 years actually doing the MBA full time

background is credit adjudication for the last 2 years, since may 2010 undergrad graduation. Not IB, but not totally unrelated either, at least its finance.

for the record, I was accepted to the top 2 canadian targets for MBA, but just not sure whether I should defer for an extra year of work XP, or just go now
