Career ops after MBA in US as a foreigner
Does anyone know about/have stories about/know sources of info on career opportunities for international students doing an MBA in the US? I’m from the UK and it’s something I’ve been considering.
Obviously the current job climate isn’t great - in a general sense, what’s it like for international MBA students to get IB associate roles?

There are a lot of comparable threads for this question. ie. https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/what-happens-to-international-st…
Cheers. Struggled to find some - guess I wasn’t searching with the right keywords.
Search for H1b, L1, China, Chinese, Asian, Indian, India, cpt, opt, lottery, DV, diversity lottery, fiance visa, intl, transfer, spouse visa, E1, E2, etc (using India as an example, I have nothing against Indians or Chinese but they are a bigger group that posts here)
I was more looking at the opportunities potentially afforded to MBA students in the US during studies, as well as return offers. I’m from the UK - not Asia.
I know, but USCIS doesn't really care where you are from for most employment based visa sponsorships. If you type in the keywords above or some of them you may find quite a few threads about the process, the odds, the paperwork, costs and what the outcome could be.
For the typical employment visa, initially your nationality is not the deciding factor (it might be later in the process for residency and other sponsorships). There are a lot of people who wrote up questions and threads about this topic and there is a whole lot of information about it on WSO.
In summary, the H1b, L1, O, and potentially E1/E2 visas are most likely applicable to you (you can find the matching green cards on the US gov website).
Why am I pointing straight at visas instead of "success stories" for career opportunities? Well, in the US, gaining an employment authorization (EAD) is considered a huge success as a foreigner because it takes time, money and effort for many. Being able to legally live and work in the US is a key factor whether you can have a career in finance (or other industries) in the first place.
