Careers in Finance that are more Quantitative?
I'm currently an experienced analyst at a top MM. I've come to realize that I don't have the personality to continue doing a "sales" job where I have to constantly reach out to people and be personable. I can certainly do it, but it's exhausting for me.
I have a strong analytical skill set, so I'm curious to hear about what segments of finance you think require more of an analytical skill set, but that doesn't require me to be constantly "on" all the time.
I'm currently recruiting for PE right now. I've definitely seen a wide variety of personalities in PE. I think if I can find the right fit, maybe that will be what I'm looking for. But happy to get other people's input.
