Canadian banks don't offer as much training compared with the US. How long does training last at the bigger banks in Canada?

2-3 weeks. Most, if not all, Canadian analysts have a background in business/finance/accounting and don't need as much training.
yeah, i was an engineering student in Canada trying to get an analyst position at a canadian bank and was against strictly business students form ivey, queens, rotman and laurier. they knew their accouting and finance shit whereas i only knew the vault guide. they are prepped to work pretty much the day they start and they just pick up the dynamics of the workplace as they go. with that said i know BMO has a 2 week training program.
I've heard Scotia has a 4-week program, and CIBC has had a 1-week program which they might change to 2-weeks
