Chances of making it to senior management higher at smaller firms?
Is this a logical conclusion? That career advancement at the same firm is easier at an EB than a BB? Asking because I've never seen this point brought up in an EB vs. BB thread.
If you're part of a 40-person analyst class at an EB, your chances of making it to C-level management/global head at that firm are higher than if you start at a 100-person analyst class at a BB. It all funnels down to a couple of people and there's less competition at an EB.
This is, of course, assuming you stay at the same firm throughout your career and not taking into account lateral hiring..
