Changes in Lateral Process for Summer 2018?

I'll be an SA at an EB this summer and I was wondering what the lateral recruiting process looks like in the event I have an interest in switching firms for full time. Specifically what the process looks like to move between EBs in the same city, which I know would be pretty difficult to do. Obviously, the recruiting process for Summer 2019 has accelerated substantially even from last summer, so I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what the FT lateral process looks like. Thanks for the help!
