I’ll be a junior SA next summer and I’m wondering what’s the best laptop I can use to practice Excel/PowerPoint with that’s under $800? I have a MacBook for personal use so I’ll only use the new laptop to do modeling/logo aligning. It’s be great If you can recommend something that’s good and cheap. Thanks!

They'll either give you a laptop or you'll remote into a VM. You don't need a Windows laptop lol.
OP here, I wanted to get a laptop so I can get good at spreadsheets before heading into the SA gig haha
For basic 3 statement modeling and DCFs, you can get by just fine with a Macbook.
If you're deadset on using the Windows version of excel, just install bootcamp or Parallels and get a Windows keyboard.
If your school offers Office 365 just use it on your Mac
I got a Lenovo and with back to school and student discounts it was like $600 ($1,200 before discounts). Thinkpad E490 it was at the time. I still use it for personal stuff and it’s pretty solid
Acer Nitro 5. Can also play games and I actually prefer it over my Mac.
