For those in the securitization, can you provide an overview of securitization groups/activity in Chicago?
Curious to know more about the types, i.e traditional (credit cards, trade receivables, leases) and non-traditional (WBS and other esoteric types).
Is it primarily limited to regional banks (PNC, Key, 5/3) or do larger, MM/BB “balance sheet” type-banks have securitization groups sitting in Chicago?
There was a great post a while back about various banking groups in Chicago – it was primarily coverage groups so it would be nice to expand more on the product side if possible.
