Chris Dodd Quits
As many of you have probably already read, Chris Dodd the democratic Connecticut Senator has quit the Senate.
As this situation unwinds, what does this mean for the 60 votes in Senate? Will Schiff move into the favorite position? Or will democrats like the Connecticut AG Richard Blumenthal move to take his seat?
Also, what does this do for the financial sector? Dodd played a very prominent role for reform with his close ties to the financial industry. Any opinions out there?
As much as it pains me to say it, Schiff is now toast. Only against a complete fuckwit like Dodd would people be willing to step far enough outside the box to elect a guy like Peter Schiff. Even against Dodd it was a long shot. Now I'm afraid there's no hope.
yeah unfortunately schiff is screwed. Its ok Id rather have him managing my portfolio than Connecticut.
Patrick for President!
