Citi IB Geologist Internship

Hey folks,

I am trying to seek any intel possible on the Investment Banking Internship for Geologist through Citi. It is with their prestigious Energy A&D team. About myself, I go to a ridiculously non target school as a double major in Geology and Economics. Our Econ department only has 4 profs and we have one guy in the Business Dept. who does Finance. We have 2 alums on the street, both with GS. There is only one post about my school on WSO and it is basically telling the OP to run away from my school as fast as possible:( So you get the idea.

My question is if anyone knows anything about this Internship and what it might entail. Do you think that they are looking for Finance kids who know Geology, or a Geologist who they can rope into Finance. And also whether this position would look good on a resume for someone going into IB or PE. I don't think I am going to apply because I figure that it is not even worth the time to do an application based on my background. I'm blind as to how the world of IB works outside of what little I've read on WSO. Thank you ever so much.
