Citi league tables
In factsets M&A league table, they are always so high with so few deals. And yet their reputation is worse than Bofas. Why is this???

They are 4 on transaction volume (FactSet), but 8 on M&A revenue globally per LSEG. Tells me they might be heavy on the no fee cred only department. Or the throw on the deal announcement because I am a lender department.

Why the MS they have massive deal value but tiny fees.
I think the statement that part of Citi’s league table credit is lender driven without a true advisory role is accurate. However, they also have a few big wins in the large cap / mega cap space. E.g. Mars-Kellanova has Citi as buy side.
Was that deal all cash or was financing in it at all?
according to Mars' website, JPM and Citi provided financing.
