I've been speaking to the MD of a boutique IB for 3 months now regarding a possible summer internship at his firm. Last week, he called me and told me that their board had a meeting and decided to hire a couple interns and he would pass my resume on to analyst and VP heading intern recruitment. Given this is a small firm, there isn't much bureaucracy between what an MD passes on to them.
I emailed the VP and analyst last week and emailed them again 2 days ago with no response. I'm debating of whether to call them tomorrow, as I have no idea about their intern recruitment schedule or what they plan to do; I end school in about a week as well.
Do you think it's a good idea to call them? What do you think I should expect?
