Has anyone ever experienced (or heard of others experiencing) a decrease in total compensation year over year while working at the same company?
I know things have been tough this year but I wasn’t expecting to make less on a nominal basis (but maybe my expectations were off)
I know I’m asking about others’ experience but a little of my specifics here: I work at a strategy consulting firm, my performance ratings improved year over year and I received a promotion part way through the year.
