Consulting intern to Full time IB is it possible??
Hi everyone, I am interning at a top consulting firm this summer in their technology solutions group. However, with the constant delayed starts, less-than-ideal full-time pay, and the industry struggling. I am interested in looking around at other fields, and I missed the jump on banking recruiting bc I had convinced myself I was going to be a consultant for life, but am really interested in the field. I want to see if it is wasting my time trying to secure an interview and run the gauntlet. I also have a finance and data analytics internship under my belt, where I created numerous reports and models for a small healthcare company during my sophomore summer.
MBB to IB full time can happen but IB FT recruitment is just aids idk if ur looking at banking to do PE but MBB recruits to PE just fine food for thought
PE doesn't really interest me, I'll be real. I'd rather go to private credit if I were going to jump ship for a second time lol.
