Cornell engineering
I have been admitted to Cornell ED as an intended mathematics major from the Silicon Valley. However, I have thought about this for a while and have decided that a computer science major would allow me to work in the silicon valley in case I don't break into IB. Cornell offers CS in both its A&S and Engineering colleges. Which should I pick? I am also considering majoring in ORIE since it has more finance related curriculum. I believe I will be able to keep a similar GPA in all 3 (CS @ A&S, CS @ Engineering, ORIE @ Engineering). Also, will a business minor help me break in (I think I might be able to manage this along with my CS curriculum)? If you went to Cornell, do you think it's possible to double major in CS and Business and still maintain a decent GPA? Should I consider transferring after my freshman year to a bigger target like Columbia?
