Corp Banking Raises 2022?
Seeing raises in IB for An/As (Litquidity page), any word on if this applies to corporate banking groups too?

Can confirm CB groups received raises across street.
What’s the new range for Associates?
Bump - curious for CB Associate
if corp banking is part of the investment bank, yes
At a BB with CIB structure. Have seen raises for CB Ans but not Associates
tell me whats street so I can tell HR to go fuck themselves for paying 115 base to CB associates
That’s worth telling HR to fuck off pre 2021 raises. No sarcasm.
Its canada so this is what we get
Pretty sure JPM / C / RBC all pay at least 160k base for CB associate
Rbc? Even in canada? If thats true then I’m quitting lol
I think its 175k base for JPM 1st yr CIB associates now.
Bump
Wells is still 85, 90, 95 for analysts.
Heard they bumped AS1 base to 150 though
As1 pay is still 125. If you are looking to get into CB, do whatever you can to go to JPM/Citi/BoA. WF is a 3.5 year analyst program where they just keep saying at least it's better than before.

So is corporate banking at a BB less competitive to get an internship at than IBD ?
only slightly. and probably not really much difference in terms of getting in.
If given 2 offers: one is CB at JPM/C/BOA and the other is IB at BMO. I’m not really interested in PE at the moment but I think I will not be able to find exit opportunities in CB. CB seems like good money and wlb but I don’t see how those skills may help me outside of finance. Any opinions?
You're right. The skills from CB are not marketable for much. No direct exits outside of some sort of debt fund. PE is not likely. Maybe if you spin something sector/market specific that you have experience with, then some nuanced corporate finance/capital markets gigs or VC/startup roles are possible. If you land anything besides Private Credit it will be solely based off your grit/interest/determination rather than it being a direct fit with the skills you got from CB
We are at 100/105/110 analyst
Wells is still at 85K for CB!
Unreal... Does anyone know if they plan to meet street? I doubt they'll be able to keep juniors past a year.
Wondering the same thing here!
Hopefully there's some change to this soon, but definitely not betting on anything.
Is anyone know if there was any development about increasing the base pay at Wells Fargo in today’s Q&A?
Nope. It was mainly about how we need to be back in the office.
lmfao what a shithole bank
I wonder what they’re waiting to start bumping base. They keep mentioning about talent war, but aren't doing anything really compare to competitors.
Heard BMO is raising bases again. Anyone know any specific numbers?
I was on the A&A hall yesterday, didn't sound like they're raising.
Weird someone told me management is coming up with new numbers and that they haven’t approved anything yet but are talking.
Wondering when Wells Fargo will decide to do the same.
Anything from the call today?
I think it is officially official that Wells has no intention to increase base salary anytime soon. They didn't even open up Q&A session. No mention of bump whatsoever! Probably time to jump ship.
They just said that it's important to be in the office for LeArNinG OpPoRtUnItiEs and the CFO wants to poach us.
Bump
We should collectively try to put together a fully updated 2022 Corporate Banking Salary Schedule by bank for Analyst though VP
(only for corp banks that sit in the investment bank and go year 1/2/3 etc.)

Agreed this would be great
That’s a perfect idea! Hoping it will trigger some changes.

I get that M&A, coverage and levfin get paid the most. But how do ECM/DCM bankers get paid more than us? Seems these bankers get paid the same as any other investment bankers when they don't even do modeling for any analysis.
They generate more fees. How is this a question lol
Wondering if it is only Wells Fargo that is paying lower across CIB compare to its BB competitors right now! If so, I wonder how CIB employees are feeling about that because at the end of the day we’re in this industry to make money.

Hoping many people will put in their numbers.
Let's hope!
Do you have results?
Did we get results from this?
Are you able to share the current results?
Its at the bottom of this trend:
Calling all Corporate Bankers | Wall Street Oasis
Note these numbers are a bit stale given some raises across the street (ie Wells)
Bump
anyone know if BAML has cb within investment bank ?
Any idea what the comp is ?
yes they do, and it's same base as IB at AN level and bonus of 40-70%
So first years around $140k?
Anybody have current figures for JPM CIB? Analysts/associates base + bonus.
Were the survey results ever shared?
