Is it advisable to go from Corp Dev to IB roles? Let’s say I am based out of Canada, undergrad freshman at a non-target. Currently involved in an entry-level position with a Tier-1 bank. Getting an opportunity at a Corp Dev role. Not sure if it is usual to seek an exit opp from corp dev into IB especially when the corp is in its post-IPO stages. Any stories/insights would be appreciated.
