Corp Strategy --> IBD
I'm currently an Engineer at a F500 company. I've been working here for a little over a year and got an internal offer to join the corporate strategy team focusing on MA&D. I eventually want to transition to IBD, most likely after getting an MBA and going the associate route.
Should I stick with the engineering job for now for the next 2-3 years before applying to B School or would this Corp strategy job be a good stepping stone?
I don't particularly like the engineering work but want to make sure that I'm building the best possible path to IBD over the next few years.
